We have all internalized and normalized white supremacy, start by examining your own actions and bias. Then try some of the following:
Support black owned business- a great list for the Columbus area is here, though it is not exhaustive.
Increase your consumption of BIPOC media, social media, and podcasts. Set intentions to diversify your life in a meaningful way.
Use therapy as an outlet to support your growth
Educate yourself on black history, culture, and means of systemic oppression.
Discuss racism openly and honestly with your children
